TAE KWON DO

Bob Reid, Arizona Western College Instructor for Tae Kwon Do classes is teaching in Quartzsite. Sixteen children and adults attend his class. He has begun a new direction for Quartzsite youth that provides a activities and a focus for young people to build character, strength and discipline. Bob is a dedicated teacher who cares about his students. He does not miss a class and his students count on him. Tae Kwon Do classes in the summer are a harbinger of change for Quartzsite. It is no longer a community whose sidewalks roll up in the summer. By providing programming, Arizona Western College has helped the Quartzsite community to grow.
