Happenings in our Library Meeting Room on Thursdays 2009- 2010
December 17th..............Dennis Wilskey Program at 2:30 pm Quartzsite Early History - Day trips to take around this area. This program was a hugh success. January 7th............Lyle Browning Program on Camel Expedition & Edward F. Beale at 2:30 pm. Another successful program. January 28th...............Book signing by Theodore Potter....his book The Shipley's is a Western epic Another successful program. February 11th............Linda Masters.......Program on venomous and non-venomous snakes at 2:30 pm Another successful program.
Refreshments will be served at these programs
**************************************************** Quartzsite Library Friends, Arizona Humanities Council, Quartzsite Historical Society and Quartzsite Public Library Todd Weber........January 21st at 7 pm. At the Town Hall. His program will be "Pauline Weaver and the Mountain Men of the West. Had a great turn out. Even with the storm we had that evening. One more evening program to go! Jim Turner..........February 25th at 7 pm. At the Town Hall. His program is "For God, Gold and Glory. Coronado Expedition 1540-1542. There will be refreshments after the programs. Please come and enjoy with us.
