Quartzsite Library Funding
The Quartzsite Library obtains its funding from several sources. The main source is the Town of Quartzsite.
Other important sources of funding are grants from the Arizona Community Foundation that help support computer services and upgrades. Community Development Block Grants have built our library and installed our computer system for file and collection management, as well as Internet access. Grants from the Arizona Humanities Council have provided Community Book Discussions and Community Speakers Program. Donations from the Quartzsite Improvement Association have provided us with books and furniture. The Libri Foundation has also given children's books.The Quartzsite Library Friends Inc, help us in many ways on a monthly basis.The Quartzsite Rotary Club and the GFWC Women's Club of Quartzsite have contributed annually.And lastly, the Citizens of Quartzsite and its visitors are very generous to this library.
